21st Sunday Ordinary Time

What can we learn from Christ from this particular gospel?

1. Our determination is weak.  His is strong, so we need to share in His determination.
2. We can't save others.  We keep trying to save others and get into trouble.  Sometimes we can take too much responsibility for others problems.  So, our Lord is teaching us that God saves; we can only help.
